Answer) Hubs and switches are basically the devices which are used in the data networking technology. They connect a number of devices over a network with each other in order to transfer data. Difference between hub and switch are :

HUB SWITCH
forwarding method Allows only exchange of data. Considered to be more advanced as it allows exchange of data as well as gather information about the packets received.
collision domain Collisions occurence are common. There is only one collision domain. No collisions occur. Each port has its own collision domain.
broadcasting domain One broadcast domain is there. It uses broadcast method. If VLAN implemented than more than one broadacast domains are there. It can use broadcast,multicast & uni cast.
Mode of transmission used It uses half duplex method. It can use half duplex as well as full duplex method.
