first we calculate the time required for the first motioin with constant acceleration:

v = v0 + at

5.83 = 1.36 t

so t = 4.28676 s

the distance traveled in this time is:

d = at2/2 = (1.36)(4.28676)2/2 = 12.49589 m

the time for the second motion with constant velocity

D = vt

(153-12.49589) = 5.83 T

T = 24.100 s

so the total time is: 28.38676 s
