    Answer:----- A managed switch is a switch that supports SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). Within the managed switch are data locations that supply a wealth of knowledge about how the system is operating.

    Answer:----- The managed switch allows you have better control of your network and all the traffic moving through it.The managed switch lets you adjust each port on the switch to any setting you desire, allowing you to monitor and configure your network in many different ways.
