Question

Deduce the structures of the following compounds. This can be achieved by using the molecular formula (which indicates the number of ligands), the magnetic moments (which will provide information about the number of unpaired electrons) and hence, possible electron configuration. To do this, consider and draw the crystal field diagrams for each of the possible structures and use those factors to decide which one it must be based on the number of ligands and unpaired electrons.
