The perception that women do not work, or are uncommitted workers when they work is majorly due to the cultural influence that affects the manner in which people view women. This is because in most cultural perspectives, women are perceived as being lesser; in terms of ability; as compared to their male counterparts. Thus, due to this, most people view women as being uncommitted at work

However, I know of some women who are uncommitted workers; this is because they are lazy with reference to the work that they are assigned. However, they form a small proportion of the women that I know; as most of them are committed to their duties. On the same note, I know of some men that are uncommitted at work; where they work at a level that is far less than their potential.
