2. the green algae can be an indication of a large number of harmful bacteria in ponds like cyanobacteria which can grow quickly in number produce mat on the surface of the water. the person comes in contact with green algae can have symptoms like itchy skin, red skin and drinking this water can cause abdominal pain, diarrhoea and vomiting.

  • Do not fish from that pond.
  • shower or wash hand after taking a swim in that water.
