Answer #1

a. An aqueous solution of NaOH is titrated with 0.100 M HCl.
since reaction is between strong acid and strong base, solution will be neutral at equivalence point

b. An aqueous solution of ethylamine (CH3CH2NH2) is titrated with 0.150 M HNO3
since reaction is between strong acid and weak base, solution will be acidic at equivalence point

c. An aqueous solution of aniline hydrochloride (C6H5NH3+Cl−) is titrated with 0.050 M KOH.
since reaction is between weak acid and strong base, solution will be basic at equivalence point
