B2H6 + 3 O2 \rightarrow B2O3 + 3 H2O

Given : 45.2 g of B2H6

Molar mass of B2H6 = 27.6 g/mol

Moles of B2H6 = given mass / molar mass

= 45.2/27.6

= 1.637 moles

According to above balance reaction

1 moles of B2H6 react with 3 moles of O2​​​​​​

1.637 moles of B2H6 react with (3 x 1.637)/1

= 4.911 moles of O2

Molar mass of O2 =32 g/mol

Mass= moles x molar mass

= 4.911 x 32

= 157 g of O2

So, grams of O2 needed = 157 g
