Suppose that the combined verbal and math SAT scores follow a normal distribution. Peter's counselor tells him that his z-score for the SAT was 0.2.  How did he do relative to his peers?  Make sure you explain your reasoning!!

Peter's z-score for the combined Verbal and Math scores is 0.2.

Now, using Standard Normal probability tables, P(Z < 0.2) = 0.57926

This means that Peter performed better than 57.926% of the people who gave the test.
