location of point 2: ( x2 , y2 ) = ( 7.3 inches, 7.1 inches)

distance between the two points ,

d=\sqrt{(x_2- x_1)^2 + ( y_2 - y_1)^2} = \sqrt{(7.3- 3.5)^2 + ( 7.1 - 4.7)^2} = 4.4944 \ inches

1 inch = 2.54 cm

d = ( 4.4944 * 2.54) cm = 11.4159 cm (Ans)
