Yes, my knowledge has certainly grown over the course of my program and I am now in a better position to integrate the knowledge about different concepts that were developed during the course of my program. I am now able to aptly apply IRS rules for effective tax planning purposes. I am also able to determine the effectiveness of financial accounting as well as reporting practices in the context of a global economy.
The greatest contribution of this knowledge to me professionally is that I will now be able to pursue a career in the tax advisory and consultancy domain. I am now well versed with the tax planning aspects for both individuals as well as organizations and hence can pursue a professional career in the tax advisory filed.
In academic terms this knowledge has enabled me to better integrate my learning with my skills and apply them both theoretically as well as practically.
I anticipate that I will take away, from the ACC 700 of accounting capstone, the ability and knowledge to evaluate both theories and practical aspects of planning, control and decision-making aspects of managerial accounting, how to optimize business solutions using alternative accounting cost methods and how to develop and construct financial information for optimal internal management decision making purposes.
