Answer #1

SOLUTION:-

Question:3

Ans:- Burial and diagenesis.

EXPLANATION:- When weathering materials are deposited beneath the ocean , these make layers one by one and the oldest or beneaths layers are buried. It helps to compact the sediments grains through the pressure of above layers. In burial process cementation is also occurred in rock through the deposited minerals.

Diagenesis is a process which happens during and after lithification. By this process sediments become hard and chemical, physical and biological process works on sediment which helps to form a well sedimentary rock.

**Heat helps to melt the sedimentary rock and transformed it into a metamorphic or igneous rock. So only heat is not sufficient in formation of sedimentary rock.

**Flexural depositions is happened when the sedimentary rocks are Bent by geological events. So, this process is not basic to form a sedimentary rock. It happens after formation of a sedimentary rock.

**Bioturbation destroy the stratigraphy of sedimentary rock through the activity of microorganisms or fossils.
