On reduction of methyl phenyl ketone with sodium borohydride gives 1-phenylethan-1ol. ( a secondary alcohol)

CH3-CO-C6H5 -----NaBH4-------> CH3CH(OH)C6H5 (1-phenylethan-1-ol)
