Starbucks has a lack of the expansion in developing markets-They are dependent on the U.S.

Strategic alternatives for Starbucks in order to expand in developing markets:

1. Mergers: Starbucks can merge with other businesses in the developing market in order to expand its market easily. Mergers should be done with proper risk assessment and proper research regarding the prisoners and their nature in order to succeed with the merger.

2. New product development: Starbucks should come up with new ideas for the product for drinks that are to be sold in developing countries. For this, there is a need for proper assessment of the needs and requirements of the customers and what type of these would be willing to consume.

3. marketing strategy: the game changed their marketing strategies as per the target market in the developing countries. They should use such a platform to perform their marketing activities which word most used by the customers over there. for example they can use social media as a platform to perform their advertisement and other forms of digital marketing can be adopted.

4. Assessment of the competition: 4 boxes can sense their potential competitor and present competitors in the developing market and can learn from them. they should research and evaluate their performance and their strengths and weaknesses and reasons for the same and then act accordingly.
