1.) Have you ever observed someone trying to metaphorically “tattoo the face” of someone else? If so, what do you believe prompted this behavior?

1) I seen several colleagues in my organisation "tattooing the face" of someone else metaphorically. Providing wrong information as well as criticizing others in the organisation is a very common thing. It can be described as a part of the office politics. This office politics usually include metaphorically tattoo the face of some other employee working in a better manner or with better efficiency.
Better performance or gaining better advantage working in the organisation are the main reasons behind jealousy of other employees and for provocation of specific behaviour in which some employees metaphorically tattoo the face of other employees in the workplace.

2) -Person I observe definitely had a conflict with the other employee as the person he metaphorical tattooed is his direct competitor and got an appraisal before him as availability of better performance and project completion. This specific type of Appraisal increased the level of jealousy in my colleague making this specific situation a matter of conflict.

3 ) -Conflict of interest can be defined as a situation in which an individual has his own conflict between views. A conflicts can be present and different scenarios for an individual.
Conflict of interest is not a criminal activity but sometimes it do produce some kind of instability that it can be considered as a criminal activity at some accident. In certain circumstances conflict of interest can directly an individual to prosecution.
For example government servants are not allowed to use that powers for their personal services but sometimes they do that shows the conflict of interest.

Providing incentives specifically for getting favour of any individual in the organisation is a common way of creating biasness. This type of approach is used by many individuals who have conflict of interest and try to be more involved in many of the conflicting situations.

Ethical leadership can be described as and availability of the leader to understand ethical values of the employees or his followers. This type of leadership approach requires proper guiding on the basis of creating an intuitive working platform with high ethical standards and social understanding. It also includes understanding the behaviour of the followers and working accordingly to improve the situation as well as to improve the overall efficiency of understanding.
