Answer #1

The knight in the wife of Bath’s story was not a normal knight as he raped a woman, reluctantly kept his promise in marrying the old lady and disgraced her by branding her as old, ugly and lowborn. He changed his life at the end of the tale after listening to his wife’s speech. He came out of his ego, made his wife as the decision maker and accepted her as she was. He was finally rewarded with a beautiful, young and faithful wife as she transformed herself.
