Answer #1

Let us take the example of craving for fast food as the behavior related to wellness to be replaced by consumption of home made healthy food.

Current behavior (fast food crave) costs are increased hypertension, increased chances of heart disease, bad overall health. Costs of new behavior (homely food) – lack of excitement, food which tastes poor and time consumption for purchasing raw materials for food.

Benefits of current behavior – Excitement in having food, Mental momentary relief from craving. Benefits of new behavior – improvement in overall health, less chances of having heart disease, good sleep at night.

Current behavior( sleep late and wakeup late) Benefits – Do not feel sleepy on waking up, Can enjoy leisure at night time. New behavior benefits – Grasping power is high at morning, learning process gets faster in morning and high energy level without lethargy.

Current behavior costs – Improper time for having food, improper sleep, lack of energy throughout the day. New behavior costs – unable to sleep in morning
