The pH range of urine is from 5 to 8. Therefore, the Hydrogen ion concentration is varying from 10-5 mol/L to 10-8 mol/L.

H+ x 100 H A PercentIonization-

Here [H+] is the ionic concentration of protons. [HA] is the weak acid molarity.

We have been provided that [HA] = 0.1M

and, [H+] = 10-3 because pH = -log [H+]

Now by putting all values in the formula-

10-3 × 100 0.1 Percent lonization

Percent ionization = 1 %
