Question

10.1 2 0.42 A 16.4 2 1 2 At what rate is heat being generated in the 1 2 resistor on the right? Answer in units of W

I can't seem to get the right answer...

My work: V=IR

1/Req= 1/10.1+1/16.4+1/1= 1.159

(0.42)(1.159)= 0.4872V

P=(V^2/R)(R)= (0.4872/1)^2(1)= 0.274 W
