A credit card is a rectangular plastic instrument issued by a financial company such as banks which enables the credit card holder to borrow money to make purchases now and to repay the same after reasonable credit period. It is like a short term loan. A large number of businesses enable the consumer to make the payment using the credit card which has become one of the most widely accepted mode of payments in present scenario. A credit card is like a cash advance in which the credit card issuer (banks) creates a revolving account and provides the card holder to draw on the facility when he needs funds.
