To find the 10th or 11th observation, we arrange the observations in ascending order and then find accordingly. Since here there is no data given, we have a look at the histogram. The first 9 observations fall in the first block of the histogram, 30.5 to 35.5 kg range. Therefore, naturally, the 10th and 11th observation will lie in the 35.5 to 40.5 kg range. Thats the answer. The 30th percentile range will be 35.5 to 40.5, where the 30th percentile lies in ( percentile calculated above in the image uploaded ,).
