1H-NMR
Identify every signal; chemical shift, what is it due to( i.e what type of proton, aromatic, aldehydic, O-H, N-H, vinyl etc.) and how many protons does it represent.
First signal at chemical shift 1.2 ppm, is for 6H, aliphatic hydrogen, means 2 equivalent CH3 group in compound.
2. Second signal at chemical shift 3.1 ppm is also for 6H, which indicates two more CH3 group attached with oxygen atom, thus this means 2 equivalent OCH3 group.
Now combining above information one can get fallowing compound
(CH3)2C(OCH3)2
Hope you will like the answer
Thank you
