The correct Keq expression for the equilibrium between dinitrogen tetroxide and nitrogen dioxide is C) [NO2]2 / [N2O4]

As for forward reaction,rate law is -

Rate =kf[N2O4]

And

for backward reaction,rate law is -

Rate =kr[NO2]2

Therefore, at equilibrium

Ratef = Rateb

kf[N2O4] =kr[NO2]2

Rewriting this, it becomes

kf/kr = [NO2]2/ [N2O4]

or, Keq =[NO2]2/ [N2O4]
