Answer #1

Answer : True

The organisational buying process starts with floating an enquiry by the buying organisation. The prospective suppliers than express their interest to supply and seek further details about the product. The vendors then provide the technical details of their product (as a technical bid in case of an auction). The buying organisation than evaluates all suppliers based on technical specifications and shortlists the suppliers that meet the criteria. The shortlisted suppliers are then told to submit their financial proposal ( as commercial and financial bid in case of an auction). The buying organisation than shorlists the supplier based on best price and issues the final supply order to the chosen supplier.
