According to lenz law, current induced due to changing magnetic flux is such that the induced current tries to resist the change in flux.

Now,using right hand rule,the magnetic flux due to the current carrying wire is out of the page.

Also,when the bar is moving up, area of the loop is increasing and hence , magnetic flux is increasing and its direction is out of the page.

So, current will be induced such that the flux due to the induced current is into the page. Hence,the current must be clockwise .

So,the induced current in the metal bar is left to right.
