Part 2, Open-end questions (10 points each) 1, A squared wire (10cm X 10 cm) which carries a current of 10 A is placed in a uniform magnetic field of magnitude B=1.0 T, as shown in the figure. Please find the net force exerted on the squared wire. 1, A squared wire (10em X 10 em) which carries a current of 10 A i placed 10 cm 8 To i=10A 2, Find the magnetic field at point P 4.0 cm to a 2.0-A current flowing in a long, straight, thin wire? (u0 -1 3, In the figure, a metal rod is forced to move with constant velocity along two parallel metal rails, connected with a strip of metal at one end. A magnetic field of magnitude B = 0.5 T points inside of the page. (a) If the rails are separated of the emf generated in volts? (b) what is the direction of the induced magnetic field? by 20 cm and the speed of the rod is 20 cm/s, what is the magnitudeA squared wire ( 10cm X 10cm) which carries a current of 10 A is placed in a uniform magnetic field of magnitude B=1.0 T, as shown in the figure.
