1) Benefits of Solid Waste Recycling

=> Direct benifits- Lessen the amount of waste materials sending to incinerators which helps in reducing the pollution, helps in reducing the burden on natural resources, reduce burden on landfills as most of the materials are reproduce thus helps in reducing soil pollution

=> Indirect benifits- It helps to create more jobs thus increase unemployment, increase the tax revenue, participation of local communities and also ensures economic security by usage of domastic raw materials.

2) Cost-competitive

For the recycled product the cost of collecting already used materials could increase as the producers have to reach end customers to collect the raw materials, this increasesthe cost. But if the producer recycle the product in bulk then then it can show cost per saving unit and increas in the profit.

3) Comparable quality

As the solid waste go through more recycling process every time the quality is bit lowers but still it can be comparabe with the original non recyclabe product as long as the cost of recyclabe product is lower.
