Answer #1

The Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) Scores are determined based on "by their perceived levels of public sector corruption, as determined by expert assessments and opinion surveys." The rate of corruption and the span of it are determined based on nations of high and low scores based on the opinion survey. The high score suggests the high rate of corruption and the low score states the level of corruption is low. Now if China is ranking 12th in the list it means the corruption in the Chinese markets is high while Canada is high up in the board to be one of the most Open and non-corrupt economies.

The story that is been broken in Amazon’s data survey suggests that the business would have low scores in the markets where corruption is rampant like that in China. The bribes, amount to be paid for the best deliveries, are such troublesome aspects that it has to be fed with the needed amount to get the job being done. The business may face corruption charges in themselves if they are willing to pay bribes in the same economy or may face the wrath of the leaders in there. Hence the ways and the measures are made online to make the people be compliant and not charge bribes or get no scope to charge one. The Chinese state-run Media Global Times had various stories since 2012 to suggest the corruption at all levels is stopped with internet payments. This was making people stay away from petty crimes due to such norms and also the bribes taking and asking for it has stopped.
