One of the components of acting politically is to forge alliances within the organization (Heifetz, Grashow, & Linsky, 2009). Asking questions to understand what my colleague's fears and desires are revealed the various casualties that are on the horizon. This is the most interesting point of reflection for me. This ("ah-ha") moment exposes the complexities of adaptive change and its significance on how it relates to each person. Allies, opponents, and senior authorities all acknowledge that there will be a degree of loss when it comes to organizational adaptive change. Fortunately, everyone that I spoken to has a positive attitude and no one has expressed anger with this change. The goal is to not only move toward adaptive change but use this opportunity to galvanize organization.

Considering the statement given in the question, let me share my feedback, implementing any adaptive changes have several complexities, such changes could bring minor or major loss to the organization, here, organization needs to consider several factors like what kind of benefits that are expected, strategic alignment, build strong and positive impact on the organizational community, we could learn many things from such adaptive changes, here, people need to have such agility, positive mind, proper skills set and knowledge, so they could implement better solution as needed for organization. Hence, we need to convert such adaptive change issues into opportunity, we should build more business and strategic perspective in such adaptive change, and we could get more positive result or outcome that would further go with considering organizational sustainability.
