Following civil liberties should be granted to the people in a democratic state:

• They should have fundamental rights like equality, freedom of speech, freedom of livelihood etc.
• The people should have the freedom of religion.
• They have the freedom of getting justice.
• They must have the right of vote and freedom of casting vote to his favorite political party.
• There must not be any kind of discrimination.

There are two types of democracy- direct democracy and representative democracy. In the democratic system people have the right of casting vote. The majority is granted. It is the modern and scientific ruling system. In this system the basic rights and freedom are ensured.

In the democratic system any type of discrimination is a punishable offense. In this system gender discrimination is absolutely prohibited:

• People are not allowed to maintain gender prejudice.
• They are not allowed to show unequal pay to the women.
• They must be secured and safe from any type of physical and mental assault.
• They have the rights to get all types of advantage.
