Yes health c are professionals need to take care of the faith and religious backgrounds of the pateirnts during the coures of treatment

It is part of receiving informed consent from the patients

They should try not to hurt the religious sentiments

They should try to provide every possible help for the protection of life

Doctors should give prioirity to medical ethics over religious sentiments

If a serous patients and his relatives prefer prayer over medicine the professionals should provide them with counseling to convinve them. In case if it does not work they should be left to the will after every attempt to convince them. An informed consent of them should be recevided by the professionals to avoid future legal issues. the same should be infromed to the consent authorities on time to get their help and expert opinion in this concern
