The number of degrees of freedom is df = (r-1)*(c-1) = (3-1)×(3-1) = 4

The significance level is α = 0.05

Critical Chi square value corresponding to α = 0.05 and df = 4 is obtained using chi square distrubtion table. Screenshot below:
