Advantages of structured interviews with comparison to unstructured interviews are-

1. Structured interviews are based on common questions for all the candidates and their performance is measured using same scale. But unstructured interviews are based on random questions asked to candidates , thus it lacks structure and consistency.

2. Since random and different questions are asked to different candidates in unstructured interview, thus it doesn't judge the candidates fairly like structured interview do.

3. Structured interviews reduces recruitment biasness and discrimination as they treat all candidates in same way.

For structured interviews, the skills on which structures questions intend to test the candidates are-

1.They interviewer rates the candidates skills level in a few key competencies.These competencies includes hard and soft skills necessary for the job.

2. This interview format also allows employer to access hard to measure skill, like interpersonal skill and oral communication.

Benefits for the company when structured interviews are done are-

1.It improves reliability and validity of the company's hiring process.

2. Accurately predicts job performance.

3. Helps to choose the best candidate for the position in your company.
