Human capital refers to the production factors of human beings use to produce goods and services. Human capital refers to our knowledge, skills, habits, social and personality attributes that help in the production of goods and services. Human capital may be the investments made into human beings to enhance the production, like education, skills, experience, etc.   


3. The following is not an investment in human capital:


buying stock in a company that publishes textbooks.


Investment in human capital means providing higher education, training, sharing knowledge, creativity and innovative ideas to improve the productivity of human beings.

4. In the labor market, signals are: any acquired characteristic viewed as an indicator of productivity.
