The population of Broadshoulder Hawks living on The Hill is undergoing selection for larger talons so that they can more easily incapacitate and eat undergrads that are too absorbed in their phones and have no situational awareness. Which population/s are undergoing directional selection and why?

Directional selection is a mode of positive selection in which a perticular phenotype is being selected for, causing the alle frequnecy to shift in that direction. In this case, the population of Broadshoulder Hawks are undergoing directional selection for larger talons meaning that the hawks with the larger talons will be chosen and selection will favor the fixation of alleles that confer the large size of the talons. But the human population is also undergoing directional selection. The hawks with the large talons feed on humans that re oblivious to their surrounding. So in humans selection is favoring the humans who are alert and thus is selective for a perticular behavior i.e alertness. So both populations are undergoing directional selection.
