Answer #1

If a gas is kept in a container and made to escape out of a hole whose diameter is comparable to the mean free parh, then the process of escaping out is known as effusion.

Effusion for a gas is inversely proportional to the square root of mass of particles of the gas or molar mass of the gas

The problem is solved in the picture attached below :

14 + 3 =17 R = 2.40 mol/min rate R Moss of NH3 Effusion Mass of Hycleogen Effusion rate R 1 52 R2 R, IGHE 2 R2 x 2.40 = 6.99

11)All the salts given in the problem are ionizable which means they can dissociate into ions.to find the maximum concentration of Na+ ions , write the dissociation equation.

Molarity of Na+ ions will be the molarity of salt multiplied by number of ions of Na+.

The problem is solved in the picture attached below.

& Nach Nat 0.20m + a 0:20M O: 20 M Naz Soy 2Na+ + SO4 O 15 M 0 30M OISM 3 Nat Naz pou 0:090 + Pout 0.090 0.270 t Na Na C₂H₂O2

hope you will find the answer helpful.please rate. Kind regards :) :)
