Serial diution is a technique which is used to dilute concentrated sample as per quantitative specification set by individual. In microbiology these types of technique are very important for culturing microbes. Just like serial dilution we know that plate dilution factor (PDF) can defined as ratio of volume added to plate(ml) divided by 1ml.
