a) Type I error is same as false positive which means even if a person is speaking the truth, it'll detect as lie.

So probability of type I error = 0.1

b) Type II error is same as false negative which means even if the person is telling lie, it'll detect as truth.

So probability of type II error = 1-0.89 = 0.11

Hence probability of type II error = 0.11
