1. Develop a use case diagram for the bank case study described in Chapter 1. 2. Identify the three most important use cases in your diagram from Question 1 and develop essential use cases for each. 3. Justify why the three use cases that you chose in Question 2 are the most important ones. 4. Using index cards, write ten user stories for the bank case study. Play the role of a specific stakeholder and prioritize each user story. Estimate the amount of effort, in hours, that it would take you and a colleague to implement the user story (assume that the system is partially built already). On the back of the card justify, in point/bullet form, your prioritization and estimation decision. 5. Write twenty features for the bank case study. 6. Discuss the term "use case–driven," as in use case–driven testing and use case– driven development. When does this term make sense? When does it not? Can you suggest a better, more generic term? Why is it better? 7. Compare and contrast the narrative style for writing use cases with the action– response style. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? When would or would you not use each approach? 8. Search the Web for documentation templates for use cases, actors, and UI specifications. For use case templates, compare and contrast the content they capture with what has been suggested in this book. 9. Search the Web for papers and information about usage modeling. Compare and contrast the various techniques. Formulate why differences exist among the various approaches and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of having different approaches available to you.
