Answer #1

2. Chloroplast are organelles with two phospholipid bilayers.

According to endosymbiotic theory, the prokaryotic organism is known to enter the eukaryotic cell in ancient time with endocytosis mechanism. Due to this, to prevent themselves from the proteolytic enzymes, they develop two phospholipid players. One layer is from the outer membrane of the eukaryotic cell to form the physical and the other membrane is of the prokaryotic organism of its own. This phospholipid bilayers prove the endosymbiotic theory.

3. ATP has a 2'- deoxyribose sugar.

In an ATP molecule, there is a nitrogenous base known as Adinosine. This nitrogenous base attached to three phosphate groups. But there is no any sugar group attached to this molecule.

4. A long DNA double helix have a high percentage of G and C bases.

The G and C bases have triple hydrogen bonds. A and T have double hydrogen bonds. The bonding with triple hydrogen bonds is stronger than the double hydrogen bonds. Also the DNA helix length is larger so that a huge amount of energy is needed to break the complete helix in two single strands.

Question 1 1 pts Why is it important for DNA to have complementary base pairing? O Complementary base pairing allows base pairs to be packed in the most energetically favorable arrangement inside of the double helix structure. O Complementary base pairing will pair a purine with a purine, which are a similar width, thus they are able to hold the sugar-phosphate backbone an equal distance apart along the DNA molecule o Complementary base pairing is only important for maintaining the...
