A.Cervical Enlargement Cervical Enlargement of spinal cord is the sourses of spinal nereves that contibute to the brachial plexus and that supply to the upper limbs of the body.

B.Lumbar Enlargement Lumbar Enlargement of spinal cord refers to the section of the spinal cord that extends from the lumbar segments 1 to the sacral segments 3.It is the widened area of the spinal cord that gives attachment to the nerves that supply to the lower limbs.

C.Conus Medullaris Conus Medullaris is the terminal end of the spinal cord.which occurs at the L1 level in the average adult.This structure serve to stabilize the spinal cord by connecting the conus to the coccyx via the coccygeal ligaments.

D.Cauda Equina Cauda Equina is also called as horse's tail,the spinal cord ends in the lumbar area and continues through the vertebral canal as spinal nerves.The collection of these nerves at the end of the spinal cord is called as cauda equina.
