1. When two co workers do not want to work with each other

in such situations, the workers are low on motivation and their focus is on interpersonal relationships. It is important to make the co workers realize that the greater purpose here is to serve the organization and for its betterment. And to make them understand that if they can work through this one project together, maybe from the next project onwards they could be shifted. Or another possibility is maybe by the end of the project they might realize how beneficial each of them is for their work.

2. When two members are having problems with each other

the focus would be on resolution of problems and getting to the root cause of it. I would interview both the members separately, trying to understand their issues. Followed by that, I would bring both of them in the same room and ask them to speak out their problems with each other openly. If they refuse to do so, since, I already know of their issues, I would begin. And the rest they would continue. Once, the problems are in open, there could be ways found to resolve them.

3. If your supervisor and his/her supervisor are complaining against each other

clearly, this is a case where both the supervisors are not happy with one another. Being a junior in this case, direct intervention cannot be the option. Also, it will not be possible for me to go upfront to the supervisor and tell about the problems their supervisor is having, as it might escalate the issue. It would be better to talk to my supervisor in private. Since, I know of the complains they are having, I could indirectly suggest ways in alignment with the problem so that it could be gradually siphoned off.

4. If two of the close family members are arguing

the most important action would be to calm the situation down. Both of them could be taken to two different rooms, so as to have a cool off period. Once they are more relaxed, the reason for their argument could be understood separately and then they could be asked to sit together and solve it.
