Here the interest lies in knowing whether average score is greater in morning or in afternoon. So this is a test for difference of means which can be carried out using t test. As the data of scores correspond to same individuals,one taken in morning and other in afternoon, so the sample is dependent.

Hence correct option is dependent t.

Second option is correct.

Correlation coefficient measures the association between two variables which is not the case here.So first option is also incorrect
