Netflix Organization – Netflix is an online entertainment service organization in the US market. This was launched in the year 1999. Its start was with the introduction of DVD in the market with the entry of computer world, especially for home entertainment.

In the culture deck of Netflix there are various benefits for the employee within the organization. This culture deck was made by Reed Hastings and patty McCord. They provide freedom to the employee with responsibility of work. How employees are doing their work but they must achieve performance in their work. Employees are expected to perform high level as a result they can get good pay scale. Employees in Netflix can have information’s about the organization but in many organizations they keep their information confidential. This all are very effective for the employee as well as organization because employee will consider himself as a part of organization because organization is sharing information’s as well as they are providing them environment to make their performance better. This is very effective for the employee to grow in their career. In Netflix they provide information about why employee is leaving. And they tell to every new employee about organization objectives, aim and how he can achieve success while working for the organization.

Pros for the manager who is following Netflix practice of being radically honest

About the performance of employees are sharing information about the organization empowers to the employees within the organization. Factual data have objectives, performance, desired behavior and outcomes. By knowing information’s about the organization employee is able to decide what is best for them and for their success in future. They have input in appraisal performance as well as they can speak if they have any good idea or find any problem. So Netflix radical honesty has so many advantages for the employees.

Cons for the manager who is following Netflix practice of being radically honest are some information can be disappointing so they are very difficult to receive. Sometimes you are doing well in your work but your feedback does not come according to you so it is also difficult situation. Some employee like openness in communication but some don’t want this type of communication, it can be shameful situation for those who always live in spotlight but any one time they received failure. Employee conflict can also occur.

Yes definitely I would like to work with an organization that practice radical honesty in communication like Netflix because if I will work for that organization then it will be a great opportunity for me to grow in my career as I want. In organization where radical honesty communication practice is there where I can have information about my weaknesses and strength along with all the information of my organization. I will do my work more efficient and my performance will increase day by day after getting feedback from my management. In that organization there will be lot of chance to get success and be in good position so definitely I would like to work for an organization that practice radical honesty communication like Netflix.
