What do these data on mean haplotype heterozygosity from 938
human samples from around the world tell us about human
migration?
If the heterozygosity is high then it means that high migration was seen in this area and low heterozygosity represents less migration. In this regard the population migration was more in Africa followed by Europe, middle East, central asia, east asia, Oceania and the least migration was to the America. The least heterozygosity represents that migration has happened recently when compared to the highest frequency of the heterozygotes in Africa. Hence the migration occurred earlier to africa and last to the america.
