  • Identified disease in the patient skin- This is a bacterial caused disease which infects a layer superficial fascia, a layer of connective tissue below the skin. This disease is known as Necrotizing fasciitis.
  • Causal agent- This is a gram positive bacteria i.e. Staphylococcus aureus, it is a round shape bacteria i.e cocci type bacteria that is the member of Firmicutes. Since it is the Methicillin Resistance Staphylococcus aureus, Hence it is known as MRSA. In the given stain it can easily be seen that the coccus are grouped in chain manner.
  • Antimicrobial agents - Some antibiotics Fluoroquinolone i.e moxifloxacin and Penicillin i.e amoxicillin clavulanate. May be useful somehow for their treatment.
  • Vaccine- Till date no vaccine is available for the treatment of the Necrotizing fasciitis , although research is going for the discovery of its vaccine.
