Answer #1

ANSWER : False

SHORT EXPLANATION : Here , we are given that there are 20 coin tosses , and X be the nmber of heads come out of it , the number of heads can vary from 0 to 20 i.e., 20 ways can be possible , but not more than that . But , we are asked that is is continuous random variable or not , and , obviously it is not . Because by definition continuous random variable can take infinitely many values within the interval and this is not the scenario here. Here X can take finite values within the specified interval .Therefore , the given statement is False.
