answer-

The three process perspective of motivation are-

Vroom expectancy theory

Adam's equity theory

Goal setting theory

The goal setting theory is the one that helps manager to lead his/her employees effectively. Goal setting theory believes that setting goals is linked with employee's task performance.

This theory is effective because When employees have SMART goals then they have clear direction of what to achieve and improves thier performance. Having challenging goals encourages employees to reach their potential andwith appropriate feedback it contribute to higher and better task performance.

When you have no clear goals or not goals at all then you do not know what to achieve or where to go so how come we as employee can be motivated or how manager can motivate employees with no goals for employees.Goals are essential to improve performance of employees.
