Can someone explain how to rank these dipole-dipole imfs. Is it based on the polarity within each molecule? If that's the case, I found that the electronegativity of P is 2.2 and As is also 2.2. Their difference of polarity with Chlorine is the same. Which leads me to believe that polarity within each molecule is not the case. So how do you rank dipole-dipole intermolecular forces.
