The movement along the supply curve is the change in the quantity supplied. The change in quantity supplied occurs due to the change in the price, the price and quantity supplied are positively related. A decrease in supply is shown by the leftward shift of the supply curve and an increase in supply is shown by rightward shift of the supply curve.

In the graph the movement from B to C is an increase in the supply and also a change in the supply.
